Al-Tiba9 announces its first call for Artist Books and Photobooks.

Al-Tiba9 Contemporary Art is a leading platform in the contemporary art world, distributed and collected worldwide and showcased in art fairs around Europe.

With our call for art book submissions, we encourage artists, galleries, museums, and art institutions to submit their publications. Selected artists will get the chance to distribute their art books through Al-Tiba9, both on our online bookshop and our in-person booth at established art fairs.

Al-Tiba9 Contemporary Art features visual artists, architects, and designers from all over the world. We welcome submissions from any of these fields, especially those publications that are innovative and forward-thinking.

Featured artists benefit from international exposure to our art network of museums, art fairs, galleries, art professionals, art dealers, collectors, and art lovers across the world. The books will be presented physically at some of the most influential art fairs, such as ARCOmadrid and ARCOlisboa, and at the ARTSLIBRIS Barcelona art book fair. Additionally, the artists will benefit from global promotion through our website, online shop, as well as our newsletter, and social channels.

NOTES:

Selected artists will be featured in Al-Tiba9 online shop and distributed internationally.
Selected artists, if meeting the requirements, may also be promoted through the Al-Tiba9 corner inside ArtLibris digital and physical bookshop.
Selected artists, if meeting the requirements, may be represented by Al-Tiba9 inside artist book fairs and events.
Selected artists benefit from international exposure of the Al-Tiba9 network.
All selected artists will be promoted on our website, social media, and newsletters.
Selected books are distributed worldwide and available for purchase HERE.

ELIGIBILITY:

Artists, galleries, museums, and art institutions are eligible to apply with their publications. All techniques are welcome.
Visual art-oriented publications ONLY. Other types of publications will not be selected.
Published books ONLY. On-going projects will be rejected.
Online publications are not accepted.
Bookshops are not eligible to apply.

HOW TO APPLY:

Applicants may submit one or multiple books.
Artists MUST submit the form below on our website. If you have additional material for our consideration, please send it to us by email. Additional material may include direct links to your work, CV, general artist statement, submitted works statements, and image information (title, medium, dimension, year).
Biography and statement texts should be written in English and in the third person.
Please email additional materials to publication@altiba9.com with the Subject: “AL-Tiba9 ARTIST’S BOOK OPEN CALL”, after your application.
All applications need to be in English.
Contact details and supporting information must be provided through the same application via the FORM below. Only one application is permitted. All email applications will be rejected.
Free submission for all applicants, A SELECTION FEE IS APPLIED TO THE SELECTED ARTISTS ONLY(dependant upon the selection result).

NOTIFICATION:

Notification will be made via email and by posting on the results page. Only selected applicants who provide a working email address will be notified via email.
Incomplete applications will be rejected.
