Ke Peng | Digital art & Installation
Ke Peng (PK) is a London-based multidisciplinary artist exploring the convergence of visual, sound, and motion. With a diverse artistic practice spanning audiovisual installations, performances, and digital arts, she has exhibited and performed at prestigious international venues, including V&A Museum (UK), Centre Pompidou IRCAM Forum (FR), SOUND/IMAGE Festival(UK), Crypt Gallery (UK), OXO Tower (UK), IKLECTIK Artlab (UK), Morley Gallery (UK), Cromwell Place (UK), Media Art Nexus (SG), and The Taiwan Contemporary Culture Lab (CN).
Influenced by the philosophical concepts of new materialism, object-oriented ontology, and interconnectedness, the artist accentuates the vibrancy and potential of materials to emerge, self-organize, and evolve. Abstract elements—sound, light, vibration, powder, and water—undergo metamorphosis, crafting a unified sensory journey that amplifies the imperceptible.
Ke's earlier projects, like 'Material Topology,' 'Dissonant Bodies,' and 'Evolution,' transform the performative nature of matter into multimedia experiences, revealing the dynamic nature of non-living matter and inviting viewers to engage in a transformative dialogue with the matter.
